Fall Winterizing Services

Bricks Boatworks has become the most trusted fall winterizing facility in the south metro area. We offer a full range of winterizing solutions for your boat, pontoon, or PWC. Here is a full list of our packages and rates.

Sterndrive Winterizing Packages & Rates

Sterndrive Silver Plan: $400*

Bring engine to operational temp, run with antifreeze, treat gas, drain engine, change lower unit lube, and change oil and filter.

Sterndrive Gold Plan: $599*

Bring engine to operational temp, run with antifreeze, treat gas, drain engine, change lower unit lube, change oil and filter, and pull sterndrive and check and grease gimble bearing or replace if necessary. Recommended every 2-3 years.

Outboard Motor Winterizing Packages & Rates

4 Stroke Outboards up to 35 HP: $249*

Includes oil & filter change, gear lube change, pull spark plugs & fog cylinders, and treat fuel tank.

4 Stroke Outboards 40 HP - 139 HP: $325*

Includes oil & filter change, gear lube change, pull spark plugs & fog cylinders, and treat fuel tank.

4 Stroke Outboards 140 HP and up: $399*

Includes oil & filter change, gear lube change, pull spark plugs & fog cylinders, and treat fuel tank.

4 Stroke Mercury Verado up to 400 HP: $525*

Includes oil & filter change (25w50 Full Synthetic Mercury Verado Oil), gear lube change, pull spark plugs & fog cylinders, treat fuel tank, and change fuel filter & air filter.

2 Stroke Outboards all HP: $145*

Includes gear lube change, pull spark plugs & fog cylinders, and treat fuel tank.

Inboard Winterizing Packages & Rates

Inboards up to 6.1L: $500*

Drain water from engine, run engine on antifreeze, fog carburetor, change oil and filter, stabilize fuel, and disconnect battery.

6.2L & Larger Inboards: $625*

Drain water from engine, run engine on antifreeze, fog carburetor, change oil and filter, stabilize fuel, and disconnect battery.

Jet Ski & PWC Winterizing Packages & Rates

2 Stroke Jet Skis: $145*

Drain water from engine, run engine on antifreeze, fog carburetor, stabilize fuel, and disconnect battery. (WE DO NOT SERVICE POLARIS PWC'S)

4 Stroke Jet Skis: $365*

Drain water from engine, run engine on antifreeze, fog carburetor, change oil and filter, stabilize fuel, and disconnect battery.

Other Fall Winterizing Suggestions

Repack Wheel Bearings (Trailers Without Brakes): $250 per axle + parts
Repack Wheel Bearings (Trailers With Brakes): $425 per axle + parts
- All trailer work will be done over the winter months during storage. No work will be completed at the time of winterization. If you do not store your boat with us over the winter, you may set up an appointment to bring it back.
Winterize Fresh Water System: Ask for quote
Winterize Ballasts: $25 each
Winterize Heater: $50
Acid Washing: $19 per ft.
Hot Water Pressure Washing Pontoons or Boat Hull: $150
Lift Canopy Removal in Fall- $100
Lift Canopy Installation in Spring- $100
Pickup in the fall and delivery in the spring: $200 each way (Minnetonka and Sweeny- $250 each way)
- If you want to meet us at the launch in both the fall and spring, it will be $135 each way. You will be responsible for your own canopy.
- Please note all spring delivery services are also subject to the $100 Spring Run Up fee. Also, if your fuel tank is left with 1/4 of a tank or less, we will fill it prior to delivering the boat back in the Spring. There is a $35 fuel surcharge on top of the price of the fuel.
Remove Watercraft That is Stuck on Lift - $500
Spring Shrink Wrap Removal- $75
Spring run up: $100 if paid in the fall and includes:

charging and hooking up battery, starting boat and running it up to operating temp, make sure it is pumping water, and checking air in trailer tires.

* Price subject to an additional $25 parts, shop supply and disposal fee.
